Smithsonian Museums & National Archives

The morning of March 19th proved to be a little disappointing. Mr. Bunn went ahead to the National Archives building while the rest of our group took a brief tour of the Smithsonian Castle. He explained that he was holding a place in line for our group and seemed to be received well. However; when our group arrived, the graciousness ended. We ended up at the back of the line and were soon faced with the choice of seeing the Declaration of Independence and the visiting Magna Carta or visiting the Museum's of Natural History and Air & Space. Our group split.

Part of our group was stopped by a local news crew while crossing the National Mall. They were doing a story on the economy's effect on tourism. Our very own Mr. Arthur was interviewed.
